Cake Batter

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1½ tsp baking powder

2–3 fresh peaches, sliced (or 1½ cups canned, drained)
Crumb Topping
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and milk to make batter.
- Spread batter in greased 8×8 pan. Layer peach slices over the top.
- Combine crumb topping ingredients and sprinkle over peaches.
- Bake at 350°F for 40–45 minutes. Cool before slicing and serving.
