Ingredients
For the Chicken:

1 lb chicken breast or thighs (bite-sized)

½ cup flour

Salt, pepper, ½ tsp garlic powder

2–3 tbsp vegetable oil

¼ cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)

1 tbsp water
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Mac and Cheese:
-
8 oz elbow macaroni
-
2 tbsp butter
-
2 tbsp flour
-
2 cups milk
-
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
-
¼ cup cream cheese (optional)

Salt, pepper, pinch of paprika or mustard powder
Instructions
Boil pasta until al dente.
Make cheese sauce: butter + flour, whisk in milk, melt cheese. Fold in pasta.
Dredge chicken in flour, pan-fry until golden.
Simmer honey, soy, vinegar, water into glaze.
Toss chicken in glaze. Serve hot over mac and cheese.
