This Cajun Chicken Pasta is a rich, creamy, and spicy dinner packed with bold flavor. Cajun-seasoned chicken is pan-seared and tossed with colorful bell peppers, garlic, and pasta in a smooth Parmesan cream sauce. For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 1½ tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Pasta & Sauce:

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta – Boil until al dente, drain, and set aside (reserve ½ cup pasta water).
  2. Cook Chicken – Season with Cajun seasoning and sauté in olive oil until cooked through; set aside.
  3. Sauté Veggies – In the same skillet, cook bell peppers in butter. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Make Sauce – Add cream, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice; simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine – Add pasta and chicken back to skillet. Toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.
  6. Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley and more Parmesan. Serve hot!
