  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 egg, beaten

For the Sauce & Topping:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta Shells:

Boil shells according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Filling:

In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned.

Add mushrooms, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until mushrooms soften.

Let cool slightly, then mix in ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella (½ cup), and beaten egg.

3️⃣ Assemble the Stuffed Shells:

Spread ½ cup marinara sauce in a baking dish.

Fill each pasta shell with the beef and mushroom mixture and arrange in the dish.

Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella.

4️⃣ Bake & Serve:
